Geomatics at Fleming

To us, innovation is more than blue sky thinking. It's having the vision to be leading edge - and the ability to follow through. Innovation is at the forefront of our multi-million dollar Technology Wing at Frost Campus, which houses the Geomatics Institute at Fleming.

Recognizing Fleming's leadership role in providing state-of-the-art education and training, businesses and government agencies partnered with Fleming College, providing over $8-million in funding and support to build the 42,000 square foot wing at our Lindsay Campus.

Within this wing, the Geomatics Institute at Fleming features three 35-station GIS laboratories and a 28-station project laboratory. Supported by high-end servers, high-speed web access, direct linkage to Trent University in Peterborough, and geomatics-enabled computers, the Geomatics Institute at Fleming offers state-of-the-art technology.
