The Fleming Green Map began as a co-operative project completed by three students as part of Fleming's Geographical Information Systems Application Specialist program. Conceived as a way to develop their programming and design skills and incorporate their environmental values into coursework, Charlotte Robertson, Joanne Wishart, and Kent Buchanan developed the map over an 8 month period in 2007.

This project features an impressive interactive application detailing the history of the logging trade in Algonquin Park. The maps depict and analyze a particular global destination and an inherent issue specific to that area. The details in these works demonstrate a myriad of skills, and each map illustrates the diverse application of cartography and GIS.
