Complete the two-semester Chef Training certificate program and you’ll be ready to work as a cook or assistant cook in a restaurant, hotel, catering or institutional setting. Or, you can choose a working apprenticeship and write the Provincial Trade of Cook Certification of Qualification examination. A Business Plan Benefits Kids in West Africa
International Trade student Cassandra Harris and her team's applied project involved developing a business plan to help women in Sierra Leone sell their products made from a local fabric (Gara) into the North American market.
Inspired by the women's dedication to raise money to send their children to school, Cassandra went to Sierra Leone to meet them in person.
