Fleming College seeks trades and technology professionals at Career Fair

Peterborough ON – (May 6, 2015) – Fleming College’s School of Trades and Technology is holding a Career Fair for prospective part-time faculty and technicians on Tuesday, June 2, 2015.

The Part-Time Faculty Career Fair starts at 6 p.m. at the Sutherland Campus, 599 Brealey Drive in Peterborough.

The event includes an opportunity to tour the state-of-the-art Kawartha Trades and Technology Centre, speak with Dean Maxine Mann and current faculty, and gain information about working at Fleming College. Guests who bring their own personal protective equipment (PPE) can also explore classrooms, shops and labs. All those planning to attend are asked to pre-register for the event at: http://flemingcollege.ca/careers.

The School of Trades and Technology is recruiting teachers for Carpentry, Electrician, Plumbing, Welding, Trades Fundamentals, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Wireless Information Networking, Computer Security and Investigations, and Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.

Human Resources at Fleming College encourages participants to bring a copy of their resume to the event. In order for Human Resources to provide a teaching hourly rate at the event, they require information on education and experience in advance. If you plan to attend, please email your resume to Recruitment@flemingcollege.ca before May 25, 2015 and they will provide you with your hourly rate at the end of the Career Fair.
