FREE Work Proud Inclusivity Training Targets Recruitment and Retention for Local Employers
Peterborough, ON – (January 26, 2026) – Fleming College, in partnership with Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) Foundation and Women Building Futures, is hosting a free Work Proud Inclusivity Training & Networking event for employers on Tuesday, February 24 from 8:30 am – 3:00 p.m. at its Sutherland Campus in Peterborough. The College is extending an invitation to executive managers, supervisors, and aspiring leaders across all industries to attend.
The free Work Proud Inclusivity Training (valued at $450 per person) is designed to help employers enhance recruitment and retention strategies. Participants will learn practical tools to create engaged, safe, and inclusive workplaces while gaining a deeper understanding of how to attract and retain employees through meaningful workplace inclusion. Topics include:
- Retaining Inclusive environments
- Inclusion strategies
- Unconscious bias
- Positive and healthy workplace cultures
The event also features trade show where participants can showcase their business.
