Convocation FAQ
- If I completed my program in 2025 am I eligible to attend this convocation?
- All students who successfully completed their program requirements in Spring 2025, Fall 2025 and Winter 2026 will receive their credential at this June’s convocation ceremony.
- When should I arrive for my convocation ceremony?
- On your ceremony day we ask that all graduates arrive one hour prior to your ceremony beginning. This will allow you time to check in at Graduate Registration, pick up your gown and get organized for the Graduate Procession into your ceremony.
- When should my guests arrive?
- Guest seating begins approximately 30 minutes prior to the ceremony starting.
- Do my guests need tickets to attend my convocation ceremony?
- Guests are required to RSVP for your Convocation ceremony. There is no cost to RSVP to attend as a guest. The link for guests to RSVP will be emailed to you in May if you have completed the Application to Graduate form indicating you are attending your convocation ceremony.
- I want to invite a guest from abroad. Does the college provide an invitation letter?
- Graduates who wish to invite a guest from abroad can access the convocation letter here. This letter can be included in the Temporary Resident Visa application as a supporting document to confirm when the convocation is taking place. Please refer to the Inviting Guests to Visit Canada section of our website for further information. Please note that students are responsible for writing their own letters and individual letters with student/guest names are not provided.
- Where can I purchase convocation merch?
-
The campus store has a treasure trove of alumni gear – think timeless pieces, not just trendy styles. This isn't just about showing school spirit; it's about finding something you'll own with pride for the next 10 years! Commemorate your achievement with a framed diploma, with a special mug or ring to wear and display in your future home, a constant source of pride and a conversation starter. Rocking these keepsakes lets you and everyone around you know you've conquered a major milestone, as a lasting reminder of their success and to show your pride everywhere you go.
Visit us at our booth at the convocation ceremony where we will have flowers, grad bears, diploma frames and more or head over to the campus store in person or online (flemingpeterboroughshop.ca or fleminglindsayshop.ca) and find your perfect piece!
