Published

Peterborough, ON – (July 2, 2025) – Fleming College is thrilled to mark the official start of its Real Estate Salesperson Program and Real Estate Broker Program in July 2025. Offered fully online in an asynchronous format, these programs provide a flexible and accessible path for individuals looking to start a career in Ontario’s real estate industry.

Developed by the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO), the programs equip students with the essential knowledge and skills to succeed in this regulated profession. With campuses in Peterborough, Lindsay, and Haliburton, Fleming College’s program is tailored to the needs of the local community, with a unique focus on rural real estate. This emphasis ensures that graduates are well-prepared to work with buyers and sellers in smaller towns and rural areas—a key advantage for those planning to work in Peterborough and the surrounding regions.

Designed for working professionals and those seeking a career change, both the Real Estate Salesperson Program and the Real Estate Broker Program offer flexible start dates, thanks to a rolling entry model that also allows individuals to set their own learning pace. This is an attractive feature for those balancing work, family, or other commitments. With high earning potential, independence, and ample opportunities for growth, real estate is an attractive career path—and Fleming’s programs provide the first step toward success.
